When is the plain P drive the whole answer?

When the station asks for none of the options. Commissioning happens once, from the engineering desk through a PC, so the BOP-2 panel that serves daily operation has no daily operator to serve. The motor cable runs short, so the DC terminals a du/dt filter would connect through stay unused. And the site EMC plan holds without an integrated filter, so the unfiltered U position meets it as it stands. Each option answers a real condition - staff on site, long cables, a demanding plan - and a station with none of the three is best served by spending on none of them. This is that order line.

Is 3 kW enough for the pump?

Read the current, not just the power. 14.1 A nominal with 18.4 A for peaks covers a 3 kW pump or fan running on its quadratic curve, at 110% for 60 s for the starts and surges. A machine that loads past 14.1 A belongs on the 4 kW 3YC20, which carries 18.1 A nominal in the same 100 mm frame - the step costs no cabinet width, only the rating difference. And a 2.2 kW machine with a flat torque curve fits this drive on its linear line. The 3 kW label is the quadratic answer; every other load curve reads against the current first.
