The KROHNE OPTIFLUX 6000 electromagnetic flow sensor is the solution for sanitary and hygienic applications. It features an improved design with calculated stress points and superior mesh support, making it ideal for use in large-scale production plants .

The completely sanitary design in stainless steel includes typical connections and insertion lengths for food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and chemical processes. It is FDA approved, EHEDG certified, and 3A certified. The product features a unique L-shaped gasket that prevents expansion of the gasket into the measuring tube .

The 3x100% diagnostics overcome drawbacks of SIL2-certified equipment by detecting errors unrecognized under SIL2, indicating erroneous results (e.g., from gas bubbles), and correcting errors in accuracy and linearity. This provides better assurance than normal SIL2 certification .

With just one signal converter and the widest range of flow sensors, the OPTIFLUX 6000 covers applications from simple water measurement to corrosive or abrasive products. It is suitable for blending, dosing, and batching, critical sanitary and hygienic applications, and use in large-scale production plants with wide diameter range up to DN 150. Cleaning temperatures up to 300°F (150°C) are possible depending on the process connection .
