Product Description

The Yokogawa CL420 is a clamp-on process meter specifically designed for safe and accurate measurement of 4 to 20 mA DC signals without breaking the loop . This feature is critical for troubleshooting transmitters and control systems without interrupting process operations.

The meter offers 0.2% accuracy and 0.01mA resolution on the 20mA range. It features a dual display for simultaneous reading of current and percentage of span, an LED torch light for illuminating dark panels, and a backlit display for easy reading in low-light conditions. Maximum measurable conductor diameter is 6mm .

The CL420 includes data hold, zero adjust function, and auto power off to conserve battery life. Response time is approximately 1.5 seconds (2.5 seconds when spanning the full range). It operates on four AA alkaline batteries with approximately 60 hours of battery life .

The meter ships complete with user's manual, batteries, and soft case (93045) . Optional accessories include the 98076 output cable and 98077 output cable for screw terminal connections.
