The King Instrument 7100 series rotameter features metering tubes constructed from 316L stainless steel. The internal components are available in 316L stainless steel or Hastelloy C-276. The inlet/outlet fittings are 1/4" FNPT with an optional horizontal control valve. This series has fitting material constructed from 316L stainless steel, with 1/4" FNPT connection type. Elastomers (valve meters only) are available in Viton, Buna N, EPR and Kalrez, and the case and side cover are die cast aluminum.

The King Instrument 7100 series rotameter has maximum flow capacities of 0.16 to 25 GPH-water; 0.6 to 95 LPH water; 1 to 120 SCFH air; 28.3 to 3400 SLPH air. The 60mm direct reading scale provides ±5% of full scale flow accuracy with 1% repeatability.

The 7100 series features an optional alarm mechanism, which is an inductive slot sensor. It is a 2-wire, DC, low current device designed to be used with a switch isolator/barrier. Intrinsically safe alarm components are also available. Maximum pressure without valve is 4000 psi, and 1500 psi with valve. Maximum temperature is 400°F, depending upon o-ring selection.
