The HTD Heat Trace WinterSafe is an industrial-grade self-regulating heating cable for freeze protection and process maintenance. Self-regulating characteristics ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency—the cable will not overheat or burnout even when overlapped upon itself. WinterSafe can be cut to length and terminated on site, allowing installers to use only what is needed.

WinterSafe features 16 AWG nickel-coated bus wires, conductive core, inner thermoplastic jacket, tinned copper overbraid, and outer jacket options (thermoplastic or fluoropolymer). Available in 120V or 240V with power ratings from 3 to 15 Watts/ft. WinterSafe Plus offers extended temperature capability to 250°F with fluoropolymer outer jacket, ideal for piping that may be periodically steam cleaned. Installation requires no special tools or skills.
