The ARGO 500 is Roboze's large-format industrial FFF platform built for production with super polymers and engineering composites. It combines a 500 mm cubic build volume with a 500 °C extruder and 180 °C actively heated chamber — the thermal envelope needed to print PEEK, ULTEM AM9085F, and carbon-filled variants with reduced warping and strong interlayer adhesion.

How does the beltless motion system improve print quality?

Unlike conventional belt-driven FFF printers, the ARGO 500 uses a patented rack-and-pinion drive on all axes, eliminating belt stretch, backlash, and periodic maintenance. The system, controlled by an industrial B&R PLC rather than a consumer-grade microcontroller, delivers 10 μm XY positioning precision and 25 μm Z-layer accuracy — critical for dimensionally exact aerospace and motorsport tooling.

What materials can it print beyond ABS and PLA?

The dual Tip5 extruders handle the full Roboze material portfolio without hardware changes: super polymers (PEEK, Helios PEEK 2005, ULTEM AM9085F), engineering composites (CARBON PA, GLASS PA, FUNCTIONAL-NYLON), standard polymers (STRONG-ABS, ULTRA-PLA, PC LEXAN), and flexible filaments (FLEX-TPU). Integrated filament drying at up to 120 °C keeps hygroscopic nylons and PEEK dry during extended prints.
