Product Description
The Extech CG204 coating thickness tester features dual technology that provides automatic recognition for ferrous and non-ferrous substrates. The tester uses magnetic induction for ferrous substrates and eddy current measurement for non-ferrous substrates, automatically selecting the appropriate measurement method without user intervention.
With an easy-to-use menu system, the CG204 offers two measuring modes (single and continuous) and two working modes (direct and group) for flexible data collection. The memory stores up to 400 readings organized as 80 direct readings and 320 group readings, allowing you to separate measurements by job or location.
User-programmable high/low alarms provide immediate pass/fail indication. MIN/MAX/AVG statistics help analyze coating thickness variations. One or two-point calibration ensures measurement accuracy across the full range. The USB interface and included software make downloading and analyzing data simple.
