The LEISTER CSS EASY (P/N 125.944) is a preconfigured single-loop PID temperature regulator designed to serve as the dedicated control unit for LEISTER LHS SYSTEM air heaters. Unlike universal PID controllers that require the user to tune parameters and wire connectors from scratch, the CSS EASY ships ready to operate—connect the RJ45 cable to the air heater, plug in the Type K thermocouple, and apply power.

Plug-and-Play — What That Actually Means

• Preconfigured Parameter Sets: Four control parameter configurations are preloaded at the factory for LHS SYSTEM, MISTRAL SYSTEM, HOTWIND SYSTEM, and VULCAN SYSTEM air heaters. The regulator comes out of the box ready to run closed-loop control without PID tuning.
• RJ45 Connector for LHS: The front-side RJ45 socket replaces a row of screw terminals. A single Leister Control Cable carries all signals to the LHS air heater, eliminating wiring mistakes.
• Two Configuration Paths: Daily adjustments—such as setpoint changes or C°/F° switching—are made through the front-panel keypad. System-level changes, including alarm thresholds and PID D-term limits, are accessible via a PC programming cable and Leister software.
