The 6SL3520-1XN05-5AF0 is a 5.5 kW SINAMICS G115D modular distributed drive — the entry point to the FSC frame within the G115D range. It delivers 13.2 A rated output (HO) at 380–480 V 3 AC with integrated fan cooling, IP65/IP66 protection, and PROFINET communication via the AF0 suffix.

5.5 kW FSC: the crossover from FSB to the largest G115D frame

The 5.5 kW rating marks the transition from the FSB frame (2.2–4 kW) to the larger FSC frame (5.5–7.5 kW). While the FSC shares the same 425 × 180 mm mounting footprint as the fan-cooled FSB 4 kW, its power stage supports higher thermal loads — up to 7.5 kW in the same form factor. The 1XN modular variant uses plug-in connectors for power and signal, simplifying field installation and replacement. The AF0 suffix provides PROFINET/PROFIsafe communication, enabling coordinated multi-axis control with other G115D drives on the same conveyor line via TIA Portal.
