Electrically identical to the 2AB0 and 2AF0 at 5.9 A continuous (11.8 A peak), it delivers the same motor control without additional I/O or network interface hardware. The 1XM FSB enclosure (425 × 240 × 134 mm) provides IP65/IP66 protection with passive natural-convection cooling — no fan, no moving parts, no maintenance.

The AA base variant covers essential drive functions: digital inputs for run/stop and direction, one STO channel, and the integrated C2 EMC filter. When the application does not need the expanded I/O of the AB variant or the PROFINET interface of the AF variant, the AA configuration avoids hardware overhead while preserving full G115D motor control. The fanless FSB design at 2.2 kW shares the 134 mm enclosure depth with the 3 kW variant — both dissipate heat passively, keeping the drive footprint compact and maintenance-free.
