Why does resolution matter more than power on a pantograph?

Jewellery, dials, stamps and mould lettering live in fractions of a millimetre. Prestressed 25 mm anti-backlash ball screws on hardened aluminium ways, driven by microstep motors with 8-micron resolution, hold contour lines that a rack-and-pinion hobby router visibly breaks up. Working feed reaches 3000 mm/min with 7000 mm/min rapids, so the fine passes stay short and the air moves waste fast.

How does programming stay open?

The BMPCAD software runs under Windows and speaks ISO and Fanuc-compatible code, so a shop moving from a generic CNC mill keeps its postprocessors and G-code habits. Tool changes are manual but the transparent safety shield keeps every pass visible. For shops that only need 240 x 300 mm, the smaller FP 23 costs less; for full 650 x 450 mm plates, the FP 64 is the only machine in the family that does it in a single setup.
