Product Description
The Greyline Instruments TTFM 6.1 is a simple, non-contact, transit time ultrasonic flow meter designed for use with clean, non-aerated liquids like water, chemicals, and oils in full pipes . Because the ultrasonic transducers mount on the outside of the pipe, the TTFM 6.1 presents no obstruction to flow, causes no pressure drop, and can be installed without system shutdown . No pipe cutting or drilling is required, and there is no fouling or scale build-up on the sensor .
The TTFM 6.1 works on a wide range of pipe materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, ductile iron, PVC, fiberglass, copper, and pipes with bonded liners like epoxy and Teflon. The clamp-on sensor fits any pipe with an inside diameter from 2 to 48 inches . It displays and totalizes flow in user-selectable engineering units and includes an isolated 4-20mA output for transmitting flow to remote devices .
Calibration is easy with the built-in 5-key calibrator. The standard sensor is rated non-incendive for Class I, Division II hazardous locations, and intrinsic safety barriers are optional for Division I areas. A built-in 26-million point data logger with USB output to flash drives is included. Two programmable control relays are standard (upgradeable to six) for flow control, alarms, or pulse output. Optional Modbus RTU via RS-485 is available for wireless communication .
