The Rosemount 2051CFC Series compact orifice flow meter is a complete flow monitoring system designed for closed loop control and general purpose monitoring applications. By integrating the 2051CF pressure transmitter with the 405 Compact Orifice primary element, Rosemount has created a high performance, direct mount differential pressure flow meter that lowers installed cost by eliminating the need for fittings, impulse tubing, valves, adapters and manifolds.

Designed to be installed between any existing raised-face flanges, the 2051CFC provides straightforward and affordable installation in a complete system which arrives assembled, calibrated, pressure tested, and ready to install. It is ideal for volumetric measurement of relatively clean liquids, while also being suitable for gases and steam.

The 2051CF transmitter offers differential and gauge pressure measurements with 0.075% reference accuracy, 100:1 rangedown, and extended two-year stability of 0.10%. It utilizes advanced software including 4-20mA HART, Low Power HART, FOUNDATION fieldbus, or Profibus PA protocol. Ease-of-use features include enhanced EDDL screens and optional external zero and span buttons.

The 405 Compact Orifice follows ASME and ISO corner tap design and is available in standard or conditioning styles, with the 405C requiring only 2 pipe diameters from upstream disturbances. A self-centering ring ensures optimal accuracy. Available for line sizes from 1/2 to 12 inches and pressures to 600# (PN 100) with aluminum or SST housings, a wide range of options customize the system to nearly any application.
