Product Description

The AquaMetrix ES Series electrodeless (toroidal) conductivity sensors are designed for processes where conventional contacting sensors may become fouled or corroded. The terms electrodeless and toroidal are interchangeable for this type of conductivity sensor.

Each sensor includes a PT1000 RTD temperature device for automatic temperature compensation to 77°F (25°C). The measurement range spans 4 to 400,000 µS/cm at 25°C, with maximum pressure rating of 100 psig at 150°F (65°C) and maximum flow rate of 10 ft/sec (3 m/sec). The 3/4" NPT process connection allows flexible installation in flow-through applications or submersion mounting in tanks and open vessels.

The toroidal operating principle consists of two wire-wound toroids encapsulated in a potting compound and encased in a polypropylene body. One toroid acts as transmitter and the other as receiver. An electric current induced between the toroids through the process solution is directly proportional to the solution's conductivity.

Note: These sensors are designed to interface with GLI controllers or analyzers only.
