Product Description

The Wilcoxon Sensing Technologies 797L low frequency accelerometer is designed for long-term, reliable use. It is constructed with 316L stainless steel, is hermetically sealed, and features ultra low noise electronics. It also features a 1/4-28 captive socket head with 0.062" diameter safety wire hole for mounting, and has a R6 type output connector. The 797L is case isolated, and has 500mV/g sensitivity and ±5% sensitivity tolerance.

The 797L accelerometer is manufactured in an ISO 9001 facility.

The 797L is designed for applications requiring detection of very low-level, low-frequency vibration—such as slow-speed machinery monitoring (<60 RPM), building and structural vibration analysis, paper machine rolls, and wind turbine drivetrain monitoring. Its 500 mV/g high sensitivity provides strong signal-to-noise ratio in applications where vibration amplitudes may be below 0.1g.
