Product Description
The Ekin Industrial MIT TRG-S series is a digital mold temperature control unit (thermoregulator) designed to precisely heat and stabilize molds in injection molding and other industrial molding processes. It maintains a constant mold temperature using a PID control system with ±1 °C accuracy, ensuring uniform heat distribution and consistent part quality. The series supports both water and oil as heat transfer fluids, enabling its use across a wide range of molding applications—from standard injection molding to high-temperature processes requiring thermal oil.
PID Temperature Control & Multi-Model Heating
- PID Control with ±1 °C Accuracy: The PID temperature control system continuously compares the actual mold temperature with the desired setpoint and adjusts heating or cooling output accordingly, maintaining the mold temperature within a narrow ±1 °C band.
- Scalable Heating Capacity: Available in models with heating capacities ranging from 6 kW to 24 kW, including the MIT TRG-S-6, MIT TRG-S-9G, MIT TRG-S-9S, MIT TRG-S-12/18, and MIT TRG-S-18/24.
- Cooling Capacity: Cooling capacities range from 11 kW on smaller models to 50 kW on the MIT TRG-S-12/18, enabling rapid mold temperature reduction when required.
Fluid Circulation and Applications
- Water or Oil Medium: The MIT TRG-S series circulates either water or thermal oil as the heat transfer fluid through mold channels or jackets, enabling precise temperature control in both standard and high-temperature molding processes.
- Versatile Industrial Use: Suitable for plastic injection molding, casting industry, rubber molding, extrusion, and metal injection molding—industries where mold temperature directly influences product quality, cycle time, and material waste.
Operational Safety and Fault Protection
