Does PROFIsafe make sense at 0.75 kW?

For machines with many small axes, yes: every drive on the PROFINET line receives STO from the safety PLC through its own F-address, removing per-drive safety wiring. The AF0 delivers that at SIL 2 / PL d with a real F-address exposed to the controller.
