The E+H Proline Promag P 100 Electromagnetic Flow Meter is designed for process and chemical applications with high media temperatures and corrosive liquids. This compact transmitter offers seamless system integration and is the preferred choice for equipment manufacturers, system integrators, and skid builders. The bidirectional measuring principle is independent of pressure, density, temperature, and viscosity .

The meter is available with PFA or PTFE liners. The PFA liner handles media from -4 to 302°F (standard) or up to 356°F with the high-temperature option. The PTFE liner covers -40 to 266°F. Standard accuracy is ±0.5% o.r. ± 1 mm/s, with an optional high accuracy of ±0.2% o.r. ± 2 mm/s. The flow range extends from 1 to 44,000 gal/min .

The transmitter offers full access to process and diagnostic information via freely combinable I/Os and fieldbuses. Digital communication options include HART, PROFIBUS DP, Modbus RS485, PROFINET, and EtherNet/IP. A 4-line backlit display option is available for local operation. With no moving parts, the meter is maintenance-free and suffers no pressure loss due to cross-section constriction .

Optional Heartbeat Technology complies with ISO 9001:2008 Section 7.6a requirements for traceable verification (TÜV-attestation). The meter is housed in an IP66/67, Type 4X enclosure. Hazardous area approvals include ATEX, IECEx, cCSAus, and INMETRO. Predecessors include Promag 50E, 53E, and 53P .
