Product Description
The Micro Motion 4200 is a 2-wire loop-powered Coriolis flow transmitter designed for chemical, petrochemical, and refining applications. It delivers multivariable measurement and diagnostic information through HART communications, reducing capital and installation costs by sharing power and signal over the same pair of wires.
When paired with Micro Motion Coriolis sensors, the 4200 achieves up to ±0.10% mass flow accuracy and ±0.0005 g/cc density accuracy for liquids, and ±0.25% mass flow accuracy for gases. The integrated real-time clock timestamps process data, alerts, and audit logs. Onboard data historian provides a complete audit trail.
Key features include graphical display with capacitive touch controls supporting 8 languages, software-rotatable without cover removal. Smart Meter Verification is standard, assessing meter health for erosion or corrosion effects. Outputs include two channels: Channel A loop-powered 4-20mA/HART, Channel B externally-powered configurable for 4-20mA, frequency, or discrete output. WirelessHART available with THUM adapter.
Certified for SIL2 single use and SIL3 multiple use safety applications per IEC 61508. Hazardous approvals include Class I Div.1/2, Zone 1/2, Intrinsically Safe, and Explosion Proof.
