The VPInstruments VPFlowScope M Flow Meter is a four-in-one bidirectional flow meter for compressed air, nitrogen, oxygen, helium, argon, and other industrial gases. Featuring 4-20mA and RS485 (Modbus RTU) outputs, and a built-in Ethernet (Modbus/TCP) interface, the VPFlowScope M is easy to connect directly to any network. It can be installed under pressure and simultaneously measure (bi-directional) thermal mass flow, pressure, temperature, and total flow.

Unlike traditional flow meters, the VPFlowScope M does not require traditional recalibration, where you have to ship the unit back. Instead, it consists of a transmitter and the VPSensorCartridge, reducing recalibration to a simple exchange. The VPSensorCartridge is required for new installations and is sold separately from standalone probe configurations, but is included with Process and Auditor Start Kits.

The Solo M Flow Meter includes compression fitting, safety cable, and mini-USB cable (display model only). The Process Kit adds the VPSensorCartridge. The Auditor Start Kit includes VPSensorCartridge, compression fitting, mini USB, Ethernet & safety cables, power supply, and M Explorer Case. VPStudio software is available as a free download.
