Product Description

The VPInstruments VPFlowScope In-line 3/8in Flow Meter is designed for the measurement of low flows of dry, clean compressed air and oxygen at point of use, with a max flow rate up to 1.77scfm. Patented Thermabridge technology allows for simultaneous monitoring of flow, total flow and temperature. The inbuilt display shows the actual and total flow, with Modbus and analog 4 to 20mA outputs which allow the unit to interface with products integrating VPInstruments' VPVision software, or other monitoring systems. Avoid use in direct sunlight or environments that involve radiant heat, or are highly corrosive.

Flow range is 0.09 to 1.77scfm (2.15 to 50 l/min) for oxygen and compressed air. Gas temperature range is 68 to 89.6°F (20 to 32°C). Accuracy is 5% of full scale, pressure rating 0 to 150psig. The meter has an inbuilt display with real-time data and configuration keys, LED indicators for power/communication status. Outputs are RS485 (Modbus RTU) and 4 to 20mA. Electrical connection is M8 5-pin female connector. Protection rating IP54 (NEMA 3). Certifications include EN 60950-1, EN 61326-1, EN 61000-3-2/3.

Applications include point of use in compressed air systems, output of oxygen generators, consumption measurement, leakage measurement, cost allocation and measuring distribution network.
