The 6SL3520-1XM00-5AF0 is the smallest PROFINET-equipped G115D — 0.55 kW in the FSA frame with 1XM-variant natural-convection cooling and AF-suffix network communication. Rated 1.7 A continuous (3.4 A peak), it brings full SIMATIC network integration to the lightest decentralized drive tasks: small diverters, compact conveyor segments, and auxiliary material handling stations.
The AF suffix provides dual-port PROFINET and EtherNet/IP — even at 0.55 kW, the drive integrates as a standard automation node with telemetry, diagnostics, and TIA Portal access. This eliminates discrete I/O wiring for networked control. Standard G115D features apply: integrated C2 EMC filter, internal braking chopper, STO SIL 2 via Profisafe, SAM web-server commissioning, and IP65/IP66 protection in the compact FSA enclosure (380 × 216 × 129 mm).
