The Time Electronics 1010 is a highly stable and accurate DC voltage calibrator for applications requiring a precision voltage source with low internal resistance. With five ranges up to 10V and resolution down to 0.01μV, the 1010 offers a compact and robust design making it easily portable and well suited to laboratory, field, and industrial use .

The 1010 provides five voltage ranges: 0-9.9999V (100μV steps), 0-999.99mV (10μV steps), 0-99.999mV (1μV steps), 0-9.9999mV (0.1μV steps), and 0-999.99μV (0.01μV steps). Accuracy is 0.02% with high stability of 10ppm per hour and very low noise levels, ideal for calibration, linearity, and gain stability measurements on DC amplifiers, digital and electronic voltmeters, data loggers, and chart recorders .

The calibrator uses a precision zener diode reference source feeding a F.E.T. chopper amplifier system in feedback stabilized mode. Output resistance is typically 500mΩ on the 10V, 1V, and 0.1V ranges with 25mA output current capability. Lower ranges have 1Ω output resistance and supply up to 30mA .

The 1010 can be powered from mains supply or internal rechargeable battery pack. When plugged into mains, batteries automatically recharge; full charge provides 40 hours typical use. Polarity is selectable via normal/off/reverse switch, and safety terminals are compatible with 4mm shrouded plugs. The battery condition is monitored by a meter on the front panel .
