Product Description
The Horner HE-RCC1410 is a compact, screen-less Remote Compact Controller (RCC) that integrates control, I/O, and networking into a single DIN rail-mountable package. It is designed for applications where a traditional HMI is not required, making it ideal for distributed control systems, OEM machinery, and remote monitoring applications.

Performance & Memory
The controller features 128KB of ladder logic memory with a fast 0.013 ms/kB scan rate, ensuring responsive control for complex automation tasks. It supports floating-point arithmetic, auto-tune PID, and motion commands, providing the processing power needed for demanding industrial applications.
Built-in I/O & Expansion
The HE-RCC1410 includes 24 built-in I/O points: 14 digital DC inputs (12V/24V compatible) and 10 digital DC outputs (0.5A per point, 30VDC max). For larger systems, it supports expansion up to 2048 digital I/O and 512 analog I/O using Horner's CsCAN network, enabling hundreds of remote I/O points to be connected via CAN.
Connectivity & Remote Access
The controller provides versatile connectivity options: 10/100 Ethernet with Auto MDIX, 2 serial ports (RS232 and 2-wire RS485), and a CAN port for CsCAN networking. Built-in web server enables remote access via WebMI, HTTP, or EnvisionRV. With optional webOCS licensing, users can monitor and control plant data from computers, tablets, or mobile devices using custom web pages published directly from the controller.
Data Logging & Storage
A built-in removable microSD card slot supports cards up to 32GB for data logging, recipe management, application updates, and firmware upgrades. Data can be logged based on specific events or time intervals, creating virtual black box functionality for machine diagnostics.
Programming & Software
The controller is programmed using Horner's free Cscape software (Windows-based), which supports ladder logic and IEC 61131-3 programming languages. Cscape combines logic development with messaging and networking configuration, providing a complete development environment for Horner controllers.
