Why does the G115D move to the FSB frame at 2.2 kW?

At 2.2 kW, heat dissipation from the power stage exceeds what the FSA enclosure (380 × 216 × 129 mm) can handle through natural convection alone. The FSB frame (425 × 180 × 134 mm) provides a larger heatsink — approximately 12% wider — enabling 5.9 A continuous output (11.8 A overload) without forced-air cooling. At 7.12 kg, the FSB 2.2 kW is about 28% heavier than FSA (5.54 kg), with the extra mass concentrated in the aluminum heatsink. This is the entry point to the FSB platform: all higher-power G115D wall-mounted ratings use FSB or FSC frames.

AS-Interface (AF0) variant

The AF0 suffix designates the AS-Interface variant: integrated AS-i slave for control and monitoring over the yellow AS-i flat cable. A single two-conductor unshielded cable carries both power (30 V DC aux) and communication — no RJ45, no switch, no IP20 cabinet hardware on the line. Ideal for conveyor systems already using AS-i for sensor/actuator networking. 24 V DC control supply consumption: approximately 250 mA (fanless FSB).
