Product Description
The Pixsys PL110 is a mini DIN rail on-board PLC designed to deliver powerful sequential control, data processing, and analog variable management in a compact footprint. Measuring just 108x90x64mm and mounting easily on a standard EN50022 DIN rail, the PL110 is ideal for space-constrained control panels in industrial automation and building management systems. Its extractable terminal blocks simplify wiring and maintenance, while the optional OLED display provides convenient on-device status monitoring of I/O points and program variables.
The PL110 offers an exceptionally versatile I/O configuration for its size. It includes 8 PNP digital inputs, 8 relay outputs rated at 2A for resistive loads (250Vac/30Vdc), and a comprehensive set of analog inputs. The analog section supports 0-10V and 0/4-20mA signals with 1024-point (10-bit) resolution, two independent NTC-10K thermistor inputs covering -40°C to +125°C with ±0.5°C accuracy, and a dedicated 0-10V analog output with 8-bit (256-point) resolution. The analog output features built-in PID control with selectable P, PI, and PD algorithms, making the PL110 suitable for closed-loop process control applications such as temperature regulation, pressure control, and flow management. Two bidirectional encoder inputs (15kHz each, or 25kHz for a single encoder) are overlaid on four of the digital inputs for motion and positioning tasks. The I/O count can be further expanded using MCM260 expansion modules.
Communication and programming are handled through a robust set of interfaces. Two RS485 multipoint serial ports support the Modbus RTU protocol in both Master and Slave modes, with baud rates up to 57.6 kbps. A real-time clock with backup battery ensures accurate time-keeping for scheduled operations and event logging. The minimum scan cycle is 2 milliseconds, providing responsive control for most industrial applications. The device operates on a 24Vac/Vdc supply (±15%) with a maximum power consumption of 6W, and is rated for operation in ambient temperatures from 0°C to 45°C with humidity up to 95% non-condensing. The PL110 carries CE marking and complies with EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61000-6-4 EMC standards for industrial environments.
