Your 2.2 kW motor is on a 200-240 V line and the plant floor still runs PROFIBUS DP. This G120X variant is built for exactly that mix, and its DC terminals add an option most drives in this class skip.

Why the DC terminals on a small converter?

They let you connect an external du/dt filter for long motor cables, or link the DC bus of several drives so regenerated energy is shared instead of burned off. The 1 in 1UP0 marks that hardware; the plain 0UP0 sibling omits it.

Does PROFIBUS DP limit what I can do?

Not for speed control, ramp and status: the DP interface delivers 14.1 A of rated output at 200-240 V with full parameter access. The unit is unfiltered though, so keep an external C3/C4 EMC filter in the cabinet design.
