SIMATIC ET 200AL
SIMATIC ET 200AL is Siemens' most compact distributed I/O platform, using M8 connectors to minimize footprint for on-machine installation. The system includes 16-channel digital input and 8-channel digital output modules with 8×M12 or 4×M12 ports, all rated IP67 for direct mounting outside control cabinets. A full range of pre-assembled M8 cables supports the ecosystem: PROFINET bus cables in angled and straight configurations, 4-pole power jumpers, and 24 VDC power extension cables in lengths from 0.19 m to 15 m in PUR or PVC jacket, available in green (PROFINET) and gray (power). Screw-terminal M8 field-wireable connectors complete the system for custom wiring in space-constrained automation cells, packaging lines, and assembly stations.
