The Dakota NDT CMX Series corrosion thickness gauge measures coatings and material thickness simultaneously while maintaining the ability to locate pits, flaws, and defects in the material.

The gauge offers a range of measurement modes:

• Pulse-Echo (P-E): pit and flaw detection, 0.025 to 48in
• Pulse-Echo Coating (PECT): material, coating, pit, and flaw, 0.025 to 48in
• Pulse-Echo Temp Comp (PETP): pit and flaw with auto temperature compensation, 0.025 to 48in
• Echo-Echo (E-E): through paint and coatings, 0.100 to 6in
• Echo-Echo Verify (E-EV): through paint and coatings, 0.100 to 1.0in
• Coating Only (CT): coating thickness, 0.0005 to 0.100in

The gauge features manual or automatic gain control (AGC) with adjustable 110dB range, gate control, threshold adjustment, and differential and minimal thickness alarm modes. Users can set pass/fail limits with audible and visual warnings.

Display modes include Readings, B-Scan, B-Scan combined with readings, and Scan Bar. CMX2-DL and CMX3-DL models also include A-Scan display mode with portrait and landscape views. High speed scan mode provides 250 readings per second on CMX1-DL models, and 50 readings per second on CMX2-DL and CMX3-DL models.

The gauge offers 64 user-defined setups, transferable to and from a PC archive. Up to 4GB of readings can be saved into the gauge memory and downloaded later via DakMaster software. USB-C port for connectivity. Factory calibration is traceable to NIST and MIL-STD-45662A. 2-year limited warranty.
