The Dakota NDT ZX5-DL thickness gauge is a basic dual-element gauge capable of locating blind surface pitting and internal defects. It measures various materials with accuracy up to ±0.001 inches (±0.01 millimeters). Pulse-Echo measurement range: 0.025–36in (0.63–914.4mm). Resolution 0.001in (0.01mm).

High Speed Scan increases repetition rate to 140Hz with 25Hz screen refresh, allowing scanned passes over arbitrary lengths while maintaining reasonable thickness representation.
