Product Description
The 6SL3520-0XB42-2AB0 is the entry point to FSB frame in the SINAMICS G115D range — 2.2 kW with natural convection cooling in a 425 × 180 × 134 mm IP65 enclosure (7.12 kg) with B-connector. Rated for 5.9 A continuous output (HO) at 380–480 V three-phase, it powers conveyor zones where 1.5 kW in the compact FSA frame is no longer sufficient. The AB0 Standard I/O variant provides hardwired terminal control — digital inputs for run/stop, analog input for speed reference — without requiring fieldbus configuration.
Why does the frame change at 2.2 kW?
Natural convection in the FSA enclosure (380 × 156 × 129 mm, ~4.7 kg) can dissipate heat up to 1.5 kW — the FSA thermal ceiling. At 2.2 kW, the drive moves to the larger FSB fanless enclosure with increased heatsink surface area: 425 mm tall vs 380 mm, 134 mm deep vs 129 mm, and 7.12 kg vs ~4.7 kg. The B-connector cable system is shared across FSA and FSB — the same cable ecosystem serves the complete 0.37–7.5 kW power range. Compatible with IE2/IE3 asynchronous and IE4 synchronous reluctance motors.
