The 6SL3520-1XC00-3AF0 is the entry-level SINAMICS G115D wall-mounted distributed drive — 0.37 kW in the compact FSA frame (380 × 156 × 129 mm) with the C-connector cable system. Rated for 1.3 A continuous output (HO) with 200% overload capability for 3 seconds, it handles the lightest conveyor zone applications where three-phase motor control is needed in a sealed IP65 enclosure. Compatible with IE2/IE3 asynchronous and IE4 synchronous reluctance motors across a 0–550 Hz output frequency range.
How does PROFINET integration work on this drive?
The AF0 communication variant provides PROFINET IO and EtherNet/IP on the same RJ45 port, with PROFIsafe for STO (Safe Torque Off) over the same Ethernet cable — no separate safety wiring needed. The integrated 2-port switch supports daisy-chain line topology and MRP ring redundancy, simplifying network cabling in distributed conveyor architectures. Each drive connects to the next without requiring a field switch at every node.
