Product Description
Small motors on old PROFIBUS DP lines usually sit in the least spacious cabinets. The 0UP0 G120X at 1.1 kW fits that spot: full DP connectivity in the FSA frame, with the DC-bus options deliberately left out.
Does a 1.1 kW drive really need PROFIBUS DP?
When the entire plant is on DP, yes: the drive joins the existing network for speed control and diagnostics instead of becoming a standalone island. The 8.1 A rated output at 200-240 V fully covers the motor.
What if the plant later moves to Ethernet?
Keep this unit for the DP segment and look at the 0UF0 sibling (PROFINET/EtherNet/IP) for new machines. For now, the panel builder only adds an external C3/C4 EMC filter, since this variant is unfiltered.
