The Dakota NDT CX Series ultrasonic thickness gauges offer calibration options including one-point, plus 39 preset materials or three custom calibrations. The CX2 provides basic Pulse-Echo measurement (0.025–19.999in). The CX4 adds Echo-Echo ThruPaint mode to ignore coatings up to 2mm. The CX8-DL adds data logging, B-Scan, and enhanced accuracy (±0.05mm for thin ranges).

Display modes include Readings, Selected Statistics, Bar Graph, Run Chart, B-Scan, and Differential Mode. Users can set upper/lower limits with audible/visual pass/fail warnings. The gauge is compatible with DakMaster PC software, and readings can be downloaded via USB or Bluetooth for analysis and reporting.

Operating temperature range is -10 to 50°C (14 to 122°F) with 2×AA battery power. The CX series is suitable for coated and uncoated surfaces, making it ideal for corrosion monitoring and general thickness inspection.
